Not that I want to be argumentative, but... Seeing as how the bag, "clothes", was specifically referenced in the riddle, it seems to me that the bag itself is not part the "I" referred to. The bag is only a container, not the thing. Thus it is definitely not a tea bag, but the tea leaves that happen to be inside of a tea bag. It is the essence of the tea leaves, not the tea bag, that goes through the clothes. Maybe it's telling that so many others consider their clothes as a part of themselves. I am not my clothes.
